One year ago, we launched 1Finity to bring together Fujitsu’s global network expertise under a single, focused brand, with a clear goal: to accelerate delivery of high-quality, competitive network solutions on a global scale.
Our name is new, but our “born from Fujitsu” legacy spans more than 90 years of telecommunications innovation, dating back to 1935. 1Finity is founded on decades of experience designing, building, and supporting mission-critical networks around the world. Today, we continue that legacy in a more focused, agile form.
Our CEO, Masaaki Moribayashi, notes that this transition has sparked incredible enthusiasm among our employees, customers, and partners as we chart a course toward building “Networks Without Limits.”

Reinvigorating our Products & Services for Tomorrow
Ultra Optical System™
In our first year as 1Finity, we’ve accelerated innovation across our optical portfolio to meet growing data demands. Our Ultra Optical System portfolio (formerly known as “1FINITY”) continues to lead the industry in cost-effective, high-capacity, sustainable optical transport.
- Next-Gen AI Networking: Recent advancements include the L1000/L2000 Universal Transport Platform, designed specifically for next-generation AI needs.
- Flexible Transport Innovation: Our P-Series coherent optical pluggable transceivers expand the portfolio with high-performance optics, enabling flexible deployment options and supporting evolving network architectures.
- Enhanced Economics: We recently added neutral host support for pluggable transceivers in our T700 modular transponder platform, which can deliver up to 30% power savings and a 35% lower cost per bit compared to previous generations.
- Open Innovation and Collaboration: To accelerate progress in the AI era, we opened the Open Networking Innovation Center – Americas, providing a collaborative environment designed to accelerate adoption of multivendor, low-power, high-capacity solutions and deepen industry understanding of Open All-Photonics Networking (APN) and Innovative Optical and Wireless Network (IOWN) initiatives.
Open RAN Solutions
We’ve made significant progress in advancing Open RAN deployments and ecosystem collaboration. 1Finity’s portfolio spans a full range of O-RAN-compliant radios to meet any deployment scenario. This Open RAN portfolio ranges from Massive MIMO radios for full-scale, high-capacity urban areas and high-power macro cells for large scale coverage, to compact macro cells for local densification, and mini macro cells for street-level hotspot coverage and capacity offload.
In fact, we’ve achieved some exciting Open RAN milestones recently with partners such as AT&T, Vodafone, and Rakuten Mobile. These Open RAN advancements also open the door to pioneering AI-RAN solutions, empowering improved network performance and revenue potential. Earlier this year, at MWC Barcelona 2026, we demonstrated our new, full-stack AI-RAN solution for enterprise use cases, backed by a strong partner ecosystem.
Multivendor Services
Our Multivendor Services group (previously the Network Services business unit) continues to provide vital assistance to network operators managing increasingly complex, disaggregated architecture. As a pioneer in open networking, we offer non-proprietary, AI-driven tools to tame growing complexity, coupled with our vast multivendor expertise.
Based on lengthy telecom track record, we have successfully helped numerous leading network operators worldwide to streamline integration and management of their multivendor networks – many of which do not involve any of our products. A case in point is the success we’ve achieved to help our customers overcome their Open RAN trepidation, by enabling faster, smoother system integration in complex, multivendor environments.
Network Automation
The Virtuora® platform delivers advanced multidomain, multivendor network control, automation, and orchestration. As AI becomes increasingly critical to operations, this intelligent network management system completes the picture for holistic operational control of multi-network infrastructure from “a single pane of glass.”
To stay ahead of ever-changing management and automation needs, we continue to advance intelligent automation with innovations such as our GenAI-powered Network Coach and the award-winning Accelerated Root Cause Analysis (aRCA), helping operators identify and resolve issues faster while improving overall network reliability. These innovations reflect our ongoing commitment to simplifying operations and accelerating progress toward fully autonomous networking for service providers and cloud infrastructure providers.
